Laurin Nicole Naquin, M.S.

Laurin N. Naquin, Clinical Director at Acute Care Management is a passionate, driven, and an empathic behavioral health professional in the mental health field with a Master’s Degree in Clinical Rehabilitative Counseling, and currently possesses 15 years of behavioral health experience serving in the specification of mental health.

Her professional background includes Addiction & Substance Use Services, Crisis Intervention Specialist serving the mental health authorities for Austin, Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. Laurin Naquin worked with the Mobile Crisis outreach team in both mentioned mental health authorities, performed crisis assessments, and conducted inpatient psychiatric placements. Additionally, Laurin as well as served as a Qualified Mental Health Professional, for the STAR Program (Services to At- Risk Youth), through the Dept. of Family & Protective Services, and Buckner Children and Family Services, as well as was a part of the Assertive Community Treatment Team for both mental health authorities. She additionally conducted Group Services with leading groups. Laurin Naquin as well served as a Team Lead over the Intensive Level of Care in the outpatient mental health setting with 3 years currently of supervisory experience. Lastly, Laurin Naquin provided oversight of the Intellectual Disabilities Division in the mental health authority from Austin, Texas and the Rio Grande Valley. 

Through Laurin’s professional career, knowledge and competences, has been given the honor to deliver and execute exemplary patient centered services with diverse and vulnerable populations, treat critical, and pivotal needs of many youth and families in our communities facing mental health, and personal challenges.

Lastly, through her professional commitments, and determination to lead the organization with spiritual compassion, empathy, organization, and diligence, Laurin is in position to develop, empower, and strengthen mental health professionals in Acute Care Management, with providing systematic instruction, proficient and structured based trainings, and versatile capabilities of performance and execution within their disciplinary role at Acute Care Management.
